Rhizome
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
This year, three to five Rhizome Microgrants ranging from $500-$1500 will be awarded to artists and curators to create new projects. Special emphasis will be given to projects that fall in one or more of these categories:
- experimental narrative
- artists living in NYC
- new works or curated series appropriate for Rhizome's front page exhibition series
Applications will be accepted via open call. In your submission, please include a 150-word statement, a 50-word statement of need, and a single sketch or image.
The application deadline is August 11, 2016 at 12:00 AM EST. Upon the close of the open call, the proposals will be considered by a special jury.
